Lidl publishes several dozen job offers on its job portal to start working for the Easter weekend and the future summer campaign.
Lidl is looking for staff for the areas of replenishers, cashiers, assistants and store managers and for this reason it has launched more than 45 job offers for different cities throughout Spain on its portal.
Other chains have begun to launch their corresponding massive job offers for the 2021 summer campaign marked by the covid pandemic, such as Mercadona with 200 job offers and salaries of 1,800 euros or Leroy Merlin with 1,800 vacancies and a permanent contract.
The German supermarket chain announces new selection processes and is looking for personnel to work in its supermarkets and logistics blocks for the following cities: Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Seville, Jaén, Almería, Murcia, Salamanca, Mallorca or Palencia among other provinces.
Lidl initially offers its employees a 6-month temporary contract, where it is not necessary to have previous experience and salaries that start from 1,200 euros per month.
These salaries are for jobs that work with a work schedule from Monday to Saturday with rotating shifts of morning and afternoon at 40 hours per week. On the other hand, the chain offers contracts at 16, 22, 25, 30, 32 and 35 hours per week for those interested who do not have full time availability and are interested in weekend work or want to reconcile work with their studies among other situations.
Although the salary of workers in Lidl supermarkets is close to that of Mercadona, this is somewhat lower as there is no salary progression. In fact, the minimum annual salary is 16,019.85 euros, about 120 euros less per year than the salary of Mercadona employees.
According to the salary that is collected in the BOE, it establishes a salary of 16,019.85 gross euros per year, about 1,200 euros per month that are divided into 14 payments (12 monthly payments and 2 extra payments). Here the 5% rise that the supermarket chain announced to its employees last January is already collected.
Finally, the chain offers the possibility of working overtime where the price is 8.85 euros per hour of work.
How to apply for a job at Lidl
Applicants who are interested in working in this supermarket chain have to give the Lidl job board and upload their resume. This step is essential to sign up for any published job offer.
To access most of the offers it is not necessary to have previous experience or qualification. In their portal they indicate that it is only necessary to have a valid Obligatory Secondary Education (ESO) title and reside in the province for the position to be accessed.
