The investment firm Alantra recorded an attributed net profit of 9.1 million euros in the first quarter of the year, a figure 102% higher than the same period in 2020, as reported by the entity to the National Market Commission on Thursday de Valores (CNMV).

Between January and March, net income amounted to 55.1 million euros, representing an increase of 26.5%, driven by growth in all business areas.
Operating expenses, on the other hand, grew to 43.2 million euros, 13.9% more, due to a 65.6% increase in variable remuneration, linked to the results obtained during the year.
The general meeting of shareholders, held yesterday, approved the distribution of a dividend of 0.40 euros per share to be paid in May 2021.
Additionally, the board of directors is expected to propose the distribution of 0.35 euros per share in November 2021, raising the remuneration corresponding to the profit for the year 2020 to 0.75 euros per share. Thus, the ‘payout’ would reach 100%.
